Tudor Submariner 9411/0 Snowflake
In 1969 Tudor brought some changes to his Submariner to increase the visibility in low light condition. The new watches showed a new square hour markers and a unique snowflake hands so they began to be known with the nickname “Snowflake”. The Tudor Snowflake Submariners are the first Tudor timepieces to use the modified ETA movements. Also they were proposed with two dial variants, black or blue. The Tudor Snowflake reference that shows these peculiarities are the 7016/0, 7021/0, 9104/0, and 9411/0 and are very sought after from the watch enthusiasts and collectors of dive and military watches so they become rare to find in is original good condition.
We propose a very nice example of Tudor Snowflake 9411/0 well preserved, with his original tritium and with a great patina.
Dial: Blue Matt Dial, original tritium on hour markers and hands.
Case: 40 mm Stainless Steel. Serial Number 845xxx.
Movement: Eta Automatic 2784.
Bracelet: Tudor Oyster 78500 with 380 B end links.
Condition: The watch appears in Excellent condition. The blue dial is in very good condition, shows a light patina. Original tritium on hour markers and hands. The case looks great with the original proportions, the serial number and reference are perfectly readable. The 78500 bracelet is in very good condition but newer. The Movement runs perfectly. The Blue bezel is in very good condition. The plexyglass shows some light scratches.
