Rolex Submariner 5512
The Rolex Submariner ref. 5512 was introduced in 1959, to replace the older ref. 5510 and 6538. This new reference introduced some changes as the bigger case and the inclusion of the crown guards. These amendments, in particular the crown guards, would beef up the Submariner and prevent possible damage to the winding crown. The Rolex Submariner 5512 today is one the most sought-after vintage watches by collectors all over the world, from the rare Gilt grapichs to the Matte dials.
