Rolex GMT Master 16700
The history of Rolex GMT Master start in 1955 with their first pilot watch made for Pan Am, the reference 6542 and after 45 years, Rolex concluded the chapter with their last GMT Master: the reference 16700. Of course, the Rolex pilot watch saga continues today with the GMT-Master II collection, but the GMT-Master is no more. The ref. 16700 is often an overlooked vintage Rolex but let’s not forget that it is the very last GMT Master model and it represents a significant piece of the Rolex history and an interesting model to have within any vintage Rolex collection.
The watch we propose is very interesting for his awesome condition, the tritium dial, the two original bezel and its full set; a GMT Master to absolutely have in collection.
Dial: Black Glossy dial, tritium plots and hands.
Case: 40 mm Stainless Steel. Serial Number T312xxx.
Movement: Rolex Automatic 3175.
Bracelet: Rolex Oyster ref. 78360 with 501 B end links and clasp signed V6.
Condition: The watch appears in Excellent condition. The black glossy dial is flawless with the original tritium on plots and hands. The watch case looks great with the original proportions, the serial number and reference are perfectly readable. The 78360 bracelet is in very good condition. The movement runs perfectly. The black bezel has the serif and it is in very good condition. It comes with another serif pepsi bezel correct for the watch. The watch comes with its original full set.
